Lengua-Maskoy notes
- Susnik (1977) does not provide a clarification of phonology; the
symbols are reproduced here as given.
- Susnik (1977: 98, 100, 107) also provides a number of slightly
different alternative forms, either phonlogically or dialectically
conditioned.
- Possessive marking applies to body parts and kinship terms. Body
parts are split between the 'hand' type and the n-series 'waist'
type. Kinship terms follow the 'hand' pattern, but may have a
distinct, uninflected form for 1st person (singular?) possessors (p.
117).
- No form is given for the 2nd and 3rd plural of the n-series ('waist'
type) possessive markers.
