Puinavean notes
No relevant phenomena have been identified in this language family, or at any rate only marginally. Girón Higuita (2008: 192f) notes some irregular noun plurals in Puivave, in which the vowel of the plural suffix -ot harmonizes with an immediately preceding stem vowel, and (ii) in which there is a tonal alternation between singular and plural stems (normally the tone does not change)
